About 'The Band-Aid'
For over three decades, the Military Band-Aid Softball Tournament has stood as a proud tribute to the service, sacrifice, and competitive spirit of the United States Armed Forces. As the second-largest military softball tournament in the world, this historic event returns once again to its enduring home—Colorado Springs, Colorado, a city steeped in military heritage and honored as one of America's top military towns. Nestled in the heart of the country, Colorado Springs provides a fitting and symbolic backdrop for a tournament that unites the branches in sport and brotherhood.
Each year, the tournament brings together over 70 teams from around the globe, representing active duty service members, veterans, DoD civilians, and their families. More than 800 participants compete in over 200 games spread across six premier fields at the Skyview Sports Complex. The action extends beyond the flagship event, with additional competitions including the Over-40 Veterans Bracket, the Co-Ed Military Tournament, and the prestigious Pikes Peak National Invitational—creating four days of unforgettable softball steeped in honor and tradition.
In the military, friendships are forged across duty stations and deployments, often separated by time and distance. The Military Band-Aid Tournament serves as a powerful homecoming—a place where teammates become family, and long-lost friends reconnect under the banner of shared service. Now in its 34th year, the tournament continues to embody the core values of our armed forces: discipline, camaraderie, excellence, and pride—played out inning by inning, under the American flag.
